COURSES AT HOLLISTON HIGH SCHOOL
GCP CLASSES
I had the opportunity to take Service Learning during the first semester of senior year and I used that time to create and work on my capstone project.
LANGUAGES
When I was younger, my parents signed me up to be in French Immersion and because of that I have been able to learn French fluently. Besides the required language classes, I took Advanced French Study Pre-AP Honors, and AP French Language and Culture.
SENIOR PROJECT
In my final term of senior year, I was able to do create a senior project with my friend Amelia York. Throughout the project we planted seeds and built raised garden beds in the quiet courtyard at the High School. We strived to create everything in this project as sustainable as possible through recycling and by bringing back native plants.
SCIENCES
So far I have taken AP Environmental Science (11th grade) and Marine Biology Honors (10th grade). Both of these classes are subjects that I am interested in pursuing in the future and it allowed me to use the knowledge I learned to teach others and influence my view of the world.
HISTORY
I took Medieval History through Simulation, and it is a very interesting class to take that also me to learn more about history and how medieval times influenced current beliefs and life.
WELLNESS
During the final term of senior year, I took Adventure Education & Leadership where I learned how to become a better leader all while staying active.
